Illegal immigrants having fake IDs detained by PMO
Marine Corps News ^ | Oct 20, 2005 | Pfc. Quentin Grogan

MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE BARSTOW, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2005) --
Lance Cpl. Joseph Alvarez, Provost Marshals Office gate sentry,
intercepted four illegal immigrants attempting to come aboard MCLB
Barstow to work for a civilian contracting company Oct 12.
Alvarez was conducting a routine inspection of the vehicle and
passengers, and noticed the van did not have Department of Defense
decals or markings.
While inspecting the passengers' identification cards, Alvarez noticed
the cards had a different color, a lower print quality than California
issued identification cards and the text sizes were not the same, he
said.
After noticing these differences, Alvarez asked the driver to pull over
to the side of the road, and a more detailed search was conducted. He
ran the California ID card number through the California Law
Enforcement Telecommunications System, or CLETS, which is a shared
database between the state and the law enforcement agencies, said
Cpl. Rhett Brohas, PMO desk sergeant.
"When I checked the male's ID card number, it identified a female, but
the card had a male picture on it," Alvarez said.
Alvarez ran the passengers' ID cards through the system and four of
the five cards turned out to be illegal copies. The ID cards came up on
the CLETS system registered to other individuals or not registered at
all, said Alvarez.
During the search, Alvarez also found a counterfeit social security
card, two more forged ID cards and three false green cards.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "In case he wasn't clear enough during an exclusive interview this week with WorldNetDaily in which he said his terror group would target the ranch of Israel's prime minister with rockets, the spokesman for a coalition of three Palestinian terror groups warned on an American radio show the same day his "first and foremost goal" is to kill Ariel Sharon.
Listen to ABC Radio's John Batchelor and WND's Jerusalem chief Aaron Klein conduct a live interview with Mohamed Abdel-Al aka Abu Abir, spokesman of the Popular Resistance Committees, a network of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorists.
The Committees has taken responsibility for many of the rockets fired at Israeli towns the past few years and for more than a dozen suicide attacks. It also was blamed for the bombing of a U.S. convoy in Gaza in October 2003, killing three Americans.
"I want to say the first and foremost goal is to kill Sharon. I want to make life hell for him because he made life hellish for Palestinians," Abdel-Al said during the segment, which aired Monday on the nationally syndicated John Batchelor Show."

Bangladeshi PM asks for tightening security
www.chinaview.cn 2005-10-20 14:20:57
DHAKA, Oct. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Prime Minister Khaleda Zia asked for tightening security on
priority basis for the government's important establishments across the country in view of the recent
terror strikes.
Addressing a meeting with secretaries here Wednesday, the prime minister also ordered to tighten
the security for offices, courts as well as all establishments and buildings at national and local levels,
The Daily Star reported Thursday.
Apart from the August 17 countrywide bomb blasts in which three people were killed and over
150 others injured, and October 3 court bombings by suspected militants in three districts which left
three people killed dozens others injured, there have been reports of threats to blow up
establishments in some districts.
More than 400 suspects, most of them are members of the banned Islamist outfit the Jamaadul
Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), have been arrested by police after August 17 bomb blasts. JMB
was accused for launching the bomb strikes.
In the perspective of various recent incidents, security has tobe ensured on priority basis, the
prime minister said.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RAMADI-BASED ZARQAWI LIEUTENANT KILLED
BAGHDAD, Iraq A senior Abu Musab al-Zarqawi lieutenant and Al Qaeda in Iraq military leader was killed during a series of Coalition raids in western Iraq Oct. 15.
Coalition forces conducted the raids on suspected terrorists operating near the town of Ramadi. The terrorists were suspected of having senior Al Qaeda in Iraq connections.
At least 12 terrorists were killed during the raids. Recently captured detainees identified one of the dead terrorists as Saad Ali Firas Muntar al Dulaymi (aka Abu Abdullah).
Intelligence sources indicate that Saad Ali Firas was highly regarded by many senior Al Qaeda in Iraq terrorists, to include Zarqawi himself. Saad Ali Firas facilitated high-level meetings in Ramadi and Fallujah, where senior-level terrorists gathered to discuss strategy and ongoing operations. Zarqawi was said to have attended some of these meetings.
Saad Ali Firas quickly ascended the ranks and supposedly worked with Zarqawis lieutenant Abu-Qutaiba in a vehicle smuggling network originating in Jazirah, near Fallujah, prior to Qutaibas capture by Coalition forces. Saad Ali Firas then ran his own smuggling organization funding bomb making operations in the Fallujah and Ramadi areas.
Saad Ali Firas was chiefly responsible for planning and executing all terrorist attacks on Iraqi and Coalition forces in the Ramadi and Fallujah areas.

Two Norman men face felony charges after allegedly breaking into a tunnel under the University of Oklahoma campus to get into a building on the South Oval.
Christopher Thomas Boyce, 24, and James Kent Eldridge, 20, were charged Thursday in Cleveland County District Court with conspiracy to commit burglary and second-degree burglary.
According to an affidavit, a witness saw Boyce and Eldridge entering an underground tunnel system by cutting the locks to a manhole cover in the 1100 block of Asp Avenue. Police said the pair then opened a perimeter door and entered Richards Hall, where they removed a "stoppered glass vial."

BIBLE SCHOOL FORCED TO MOVE, RECEIVES NEW THREATS IN BANGLADESH
Christian Freedom International Urges Action
By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries
DHAKA, BANGLADESH (ANS) -- An American Christian human rights group has revealed that this past July, Grace Presbyterian Bible College was forced by Islamic terrorists to move out of Khulna, Bangladesh. The small school of 33 students is currently headquartered in South Sayabithi, about 15 miles north of Dhaka.
Peter Kaleque, the schools principal told Christian Freedom International (CFI), We had to move our Bible school out of Khulna because it was so dangerous. The fanatics beat our Bible school students they tried to kill them. There are so many fanatics in Khulna now.
The fanatic groups attacked our school three times, two times this year, one time last year, said Kaleque. We have 33 students at the Bible school. They tried to kidnap the girls and kill the men.
But in their new location outside Dhaka, the nations capital, the school has received new threats.
Here outside South Sayabithi we are now facing problems, Kaleque told CFI. We have to be quiet. The Muslim society in the area says if we sing too loudly they will cut off our hand. If we pray too loud they will cut off our hand. Neighboring Muslims from the local Mosque made this threat.
However, in spite of the persecution, the school is moving ahead. We are afraid, but we work for the Lord, even if we are scared, said Kaleque. We have our classes even though they threaten us.
Christian Freedom International urges Bangladesh to protect the rights of religious minorities in Bangladesh, said a spokesperson for CFI which is based in Front Royal, Virginia.
According to Christian Freedom International president Jim Jacobson, The persecution of Christians, especially those who convert to Christianity in Bangladesh, is getting worse. The growing persecution of Christians in Bangladesh is alarming and should be a matter of major concern for every freedom loving person.
Christian Freedom International also urges the U.S. government and the U.N. to use their incredible influence on Bangladesh to stop the growing persecution of religious minorities, especially Christians.
Note: Christian Freedom International (CFI) is an interdenominational human rights organization for religious liberty. Mr. Jacobson is a former White House policy analyst.
