Why do you feel the need to criminalize recreational drug use and to control people? It fills prisons with people who shouldn't be there, and provides the lucrative profits gangbangers need to stay in business. Some people will always use drugs, and those who think they can stamp it out by playing it tough are just engaging in a useless exercise. The only notable result of the WoD in my eyes has been the erosion of respect for and tremendous drain on law enforcement.
I consider myself a slightly conservative-leaning little-l libertarian, not a conservative. I don't smoke, I drink only quite occasionally, and I don't use anything illegal either. But I'm not here to make everyone conform to my wishes.
No squirming here, I'm just enjoying the sound bashing of moronically juvenile logic. :-) I have a fondness for the sport.
ROFLMAO!!!!!
Oh, the drug threads are priceless. Jim Rob should put them in book form and sell them. Would fund the site for a mellenium, and leave enough left over for a pound or two of choice bud.
You seem to have a problem stringing together coherent arguments and thoughts...could it be that you have a double digit IQ? Or are you just "high on life"?
The point of the first post was pointing to the universality of the human search for intoxication. You attempted to equate that with activities which were not at all similiar. Trying to change an activity that is as old as humanity is rather Quixotic at best. Trying to equate that post with other actions not at all similiar to invalidate the logic of the first is either a sign of not understanding logic or being deceptive.
This thread gives me the muchies man.
"OH
I forgot to tell you that was a Yes or No question
Not endless syco babble."
I understand. Those with limited capacity are not always able to express exactly what they mean. I was unaware of such limitations on your part, I am aware now.
The reply was not PSYCHO-BABBLE, it was applied logic.
The SAPPS are aptly named.
"Well, since I never made the claim you begin with, "Marijuana use is illegal, it's for your own good.", I'd say it stops with your attempt to put words in my mouth (keyboard?). "
Forgive me for trying to tie the point of the thread in with your personal attack on another poster.
Carry on.
The reply was not PSYCHO-BABBLE, it was applied logic.
You could have fooled the hell out of me
and you STILL have not answered the question
just more SYCO babble
Everything you just stated directly causes harm to someone else against thier will.smoking a joint in your house does nothing to anyone else and the feds outlawing something that does not harm anyone is wrong and unconstitutional
Okay . . . if that's what you think you're doing, you go with that, girlfriend.
Dang, one thing I can say about these stupid guy threads is they seem to bring out more stupid people each time around.
Really, is that the best you can manage? I mean, why take my word for it since I clearly have an agenda, *snicker*.
but I hate the idea of drug dealers getting rich, too.
Me too. That's why I make sure I don't make them rich.

"So much for the "Gateway" Theory."
This arguement has more to do with the people who you have to associate with to get MJ than your willingness to try harder drugs.

Me too. That's why I make sure I don't make them rich.
Yes, my mistake for taking the word of the people involved, *rolls eyes.*
I fully understand the presumed underlying logic of the first post, but that wasn't what was written. What was written was a piece of simplistic, juvenile silliness. I merely pointed that out. I'm not criticizing what he might have meant, nor what he should have written, but what was actually posted.
