I agree we should not promote drug use, but it should be legal. How can alcohol and cigarettes be legal and not marijuana? It is just silly.

Left out a big one... doing dope as a teen increases the risk of developing Schizophrenia in early adulthood... and the younger one is when they use it the first time.. the greater the risk.

Good point. I lean towards libertarian. However, I think any time you get the state involved at any level in people's personal lives you are asking for trouble. Prohibition did not work and it does not take much stretch of my imagination to take the same stand on drugs.
