Was waiting for this after reading it in my morning paper.
However, he was just saying what the rest of the Muslim world believes.
To: NormsRevenge
Sounds like the FDNY needs to tweak their background check process a bit.

Idiot. No conspiracy, just a Zionist plot to raise gas prices.

"A spokesman for the Fire Department, Frank Gribbon, said that Habib was recommended by the department's Islamic Society and was hired "based on his credentials as a religious person. We don't ask new employees about their political views before we hire them."Michelle Malkin has covered this one nicely in her blog today. She says, "Government at all levels still refuses to screen out Wahhabist and terror-apologizing influences in our prisons, in the military, at the FBI, and in other prominent positions."

I will bet anything that this Imam believes that the Jews were warned before the planes hit.

The fire department's new Muslim chaplain abruptly resigned Friday after saying in a published interview that a broader conspiracy, not 19 al-Qaida hijackers, may have been responsible for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. And good riddance to foul rubbish!
...and take your filthy Mein Q'uran with you, jackass.

Scoppetta said Habib, who was educated in Islamic law in Saudi Arabia and preaches [hate and anti-US conspiracies] at a New York mosque, had appeared qualified and passed a background check. Mr. Habid, thanks but no thanks.

interview that a broader conspiracy, not 19 al-Qaida hijackers, may have been responsible for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Yes it was a broader conspiracy. It included Saudi princes funding Wahabi madrasas training Islamic children nothing but hatred of all that is Western. It involved Osama bin-Laden and his gang funneling money into the US. It involved a variety of safe houses in Germany and the US for the terrorists. It involved Pakastani intelligence setting up the taliban government in Afghanistan.
Oh, that wasn't the conspiracy he was talking about.

Careful or you'll get a fatwah*. :)

A moderate Muslim is a typical Muslom who just keeps his radical beliefs to himself. Sometimes, they just accidentally slip up, as this guy did.

It's close enough that it's proper to generalize and say "all".
