I have never hesitated to vote for a Republican President's nominees to the Supreme Court whose commitment to core national goals and values appeared clear at the time.

National goals and values supporting a socialist revolution no doubt.

In fact I have voted for seven of them, more than the number of nominees of Democratic Presidents I have voted for.

Yeah, it's hard for Kennedy to imagine the Cheif Justice on the Supreme Court treating the cases before him in a legal way.

Kennedy would prefer Roberts be more like Ginsburg, Souter, Kennedy, O'Connor et al and treat the cases with their personal political agenda instead of law.

I used to live in Massachusetts, and never could understand why my fellow citizens sent this fraud back to DC every six years.... but then they kept electing John 'Vichy' Kerry, too, so there's not much good sense there despite all the colleges and universities..... I have thought long and hard about the exchanges I had with Judge Roberts, and I have read and re-read the transcript and the record.

Thought about it over cocktails, you mean. If you had really re-read the transcript, you would have seen how now Justice Roberts pretty much gave you the what-for, though you were too buried in notes that someone wrote for you to notice.
