LOL! I haven't admitted it, but I do too! Funny!

I hope the man is going to be good, but I fear that we all might have to support gay marriage....

Whoopsy........

On WLS a caller just called in saying he caught a Judge Roberts slip up during his speech.

He called the Capitol part of the Executive branch.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! /sarc

The day that they announced Roberts, I got home and was watching some tape from earlier in the day. Suddenly there was Breaking News and John Roberts came on to announce that John Roberts was the nominee. I howled with laughter.

LOL, didn't you hear Jack when Roberts started to take the oath....it sounded like young Jack was mouthing the words too!

Can't help but wonder if somene threw a hand over his mouth....gently of course.

Poor Mrs. Roberts had this wide eyed 'OH NO' look, and then must have seen someone take Jack out, and she immediately smiled.

Some folks need to take a 6th grade social studies class. And then read the United States Constitution.

That breeze that just went by was the sarcasm flying over your head.

Your question's a good one, and raises another one. In the Supreme's oath, is the "so help me God" phrase required by law, or simply tradition? The "under God" phrase in the pledge of allegiance was placed there by an act of Congress. I would think that the will of the people expressed through their elected representatives would be more bulletproof than a mere tradition.

I'm still trying to figure out why Karl Rove wanted them started in the first place.

Relax. If it served Karl Rove's agenda that you understand the purpose of the fires, then you already would.

It's a Kodak DX75... something - the one with the 10X optical zoom. I just have to take the time to figure it out.

Jack gets to bring the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the US to school for career day.

Doesn't get much better than that.
