Good Morning TROOPS!!
What's your most detested TV Ad?
Some tv ads are really funny; for example, the Vonage ads crack me up, because they are so stupid.
Many TV ads are very irritating, I'm sure you agree.
Soooo, I ask the question of you "Where's the Beef" with you?
My particular bane is; A couple in their kitchen,
the happy wife is chopping veggies
hubby is at the table reading the paper, or day dreaming.
Mrs. takes the chopped veggies, dumps them into the garbage disposal, runs the motor to chop the veggies,
THEN she scoops out the minced mess and serves it to hubby!
Gads, this is gastly!

It is called useless information and Tioga serves the purpose. I just happened to be doing research on Tioga few days ago and found the Autry thing.

Hello there...there's another commerical, for retirement investments or somesuch making the rounds that celebrates the baby boomers and shows old hippy footage, and then talks about how "Special" that generation is. Yeccch.

They're for DISH TV.
The ones I hate seem to be on every channel. "you're now watching" (DUH!)* and "coming up next". They're like computer popups. I generally don't watch TV anymore because there's not enough screen left to see anything of value.
*Wheel of Fortune has a little logo on the bottom left that says "Wheel of Fortune". Only a Blue Stater could be so inventive.
