It doesn't count as a unique hit, since the referral page is the web site itself. Drudge counts unique hits because most Drudge hits are single hits... If he counts total page references, his ranking would be much lower in relation to everyone else.

Question: Was it Southern Methodist (SMU) or United Methodist? President Bush started going to AME churches in DC (radical black churches) because the UM churches were so nakedly partisan in all elements of their church worship!

Not that this should be a criterion, but she is a LOT easier on the eyes.

Not that this should be a criterion, but she is a LOT easier on the eyes. (Karen Williams over Harriet Meirs.)

Ya know, I hate to say this, but I think I trust attactive women in politics more. Think about it:

Ugly: Feinstein, Boxer, Murkowski, Zoe Lofgren, Rosa DeLauro, Gov. Ruth Ann Minner, Corrine Brown, Cynthia McKinney, Olympia Snowe, Mary Landrieu, Kathleen Blanco, Sue Collins, Debbie Stabenow, Ruth Ginsburg, O'Connor, Clinton, Nita Lowey, Tammy Baldwin

Not so ugly: Mary Bono, Susan Davis (moderate Dem.), Katherine Harris (seriously... she's a babe in one picture in jeans and with a horse!), Ann Northup, Jo Ann Emerson, Sue Myrick, Melissa Hart, Marsha Blackburn, Kay Hutchinson,

Exceptions: Decent-looking liberals: Granholm, Herseth

Too old to tell: Dole, Deborah Pryce.

Let's not even mention media people! (Michelle Malkin, ED Hill, Ann Coulter, Paula Zahn, etc. vs. Maggie Colson, Connie Chung, etc.)

"how about Judge Judy!"

I loved the title of her book, "Don't wet on my leg and tell me it's raining."

After looking so stupid last time. One would thing NO ONE would want to hazard any guesses about "who next?" THe entire media looked stupid after Roberts was nominated. Not that I didn't enjoy that, BTW.

MSM still guessing?

Drudge has removed all 3 pics, including Miers', and left up Janice Rogers Brown's photo.

I hope this is just a rumor, and that President Bush picks a tested judge who has been through the confirmation process and not his personal attorney.

I agree, but this woman might make a good replacement for whomever the President does appoint. Assuming that person is a federal judge, or a federal political appointee. (I.E. Attorney General, Solicitor General, department head, etc).

Female, unmarried and no family at 59 screams "LIBERAL!"

Often perhaps, but not always. My daughter had History and debate teacher who was a bit older than that, never married, but was none the less a conservative good old girl. She even owned GUNS! A 30-30 among other, and she knew how to use it too.

At the rate she's going Ann Coulter, who is almost 44, will be unmarried and childless at 59, are you going to then call her a liberal? Hmm?

Karen Williams: Born 1951 in Orangeburg, SC. On the cusp of being too old, but not. Only about 54.

From the SMU website:

Founded in 1911 by what is now The United Methodist Church, SMU is nonsectarian in its teaching and committed to academic freedom and open inquiry.

Translated: Very liberal! (I've taken a regular course, plus two short courses, there)
