If DeLay understands so clearly that Earle is such a two-bit tinhorn political hack, why would DeLay consent to extend the statue of limitations?

Maybe because he is innocent and hiding behind the Statue of Limitations would be spun as an admission of guilt by the Dinasour Media?

So he isn't hung by it. He's, IMHO, innocent so...more time for the Demo rats is more time for them to hang themselves on their pettiness.

This a Rove conspiracy to, once again, show the dumbocrat party is just a bunch of clowns.

Then they can't say he would have been convicted but for the technicality. Heheheh. Now there won't be a conviction because there is no guilt. Meet them head on...as long as you know you have a winner, which DeLay seems to have.

If Delay was innocent a month ago, he is innocent now. Why give the dems the opportunity to say, "See, he 'demanded' the investigation be terminated! He must be guilty!"

Delay knew he would be indicted no matter what and was told yesterday (as I understand) it was today. He had time to 'arrange' these happenstance interviews, ahem, ahem!

My favorite oxy-moron..."Go Delay"
