Tom DeLay to make an appearance on Special Edition NOW!!
YES! The wonderful and sane liberal Pat (went blank on his last name). A decent fellow.
Well said and I agree.
I think this "Donner Party" thing is going to stick. It's a perfect for description of our house trolls.
I figure the same thing. I think it will be like a baseball manager being thrown out of a game. He still calls the game from some hiding place in the dugout.
He was stripped of the title TEMPORARILY, not the power.
"Ronnie Earle punched the hornet's nest. He better suck it up and take the stings like a man."
Ooooh, GREAT tag line. With your permission, I'll steal it for a couple of days. Was going to put your name at the end to give you credit, but the tagline field isn't long enough.
President Bush has already said he still considers DeLay to be a "good friend."
Absolutely. He's a man unparalleled in the House, imho.
I saw it. At first, when Brit announced that Delay would be up next, I thought it was the end of the show and their political humor.Ronnie Earle is a .....
Well, you know.
So glad Delay knocked on FOX News' door and laid it all out!
The 'Rats are really desperate.
Gotta love it!
We will find out!
Hah! That would be another great find, comparable to the Rathergate find.
LOL! Be my guest!
"If DeLay understands so clearly that Earle is such a two-bit tinhorn political hack, why would DeLay consent to extend the statue of limitations?"
If Delay was innocent a month ago, he is innocent now. Why give the dems the opportunity to say, "See, he 'demanded' the investigation be terminated! He must be guilty!"
Delay knew he would be indicted no matter what and was told yesterday (as I understand) it was today. He had time to 'arrange' these happenstance interviews, ahem, ahem!
My favorite oxy-moron..."Go Delay"
LOL!
I agree that he was trying to set him up too. But in the realm of Chris Matthews interviews on republicans he was quite fair.
Just please don't let him send up a Souter.
I'm almost willing to rationalize away W's 2nd term if he'd just bring the SC back to a Conservative tilt.
Gee, thanks. I guess.
Am I the only one who's sick of sleazy, big-spending politicians, even if they're not 'Rats?
I stole it from someone here today, sorry to whomever!!
Brit Hume is the only TV talking head I pay any attention to, when I have the chance to hear him.
Since he is on cable, I don't hear him that often.
If I ever do get cable, over 50% of the reason would be to watch his show.
And one they should seriously consider, immediately, implementing.
