'THE SAME INSTANT that it is revealed the Democratic Political Machine in Louisiana is padding payrolls'
And which one is getting the 'media' attention?? Not a hard guess to make.

Hell, this isn't even a state indictment - it's a COUNTY indictment. And its the SAME COUNTY that DEan Rather has strong ties with through his daughter, Robin.
DeLay should demand an immediate trial, and some DA is CA should indict Pelosi like a ham sandwich.

Anyone else think the timing of this was meant to distract from the miserable Louisiana Dem failure for Hurricane Katrina? ... Especially since Blanco is testifying today.

Somebody--either the Department of Justice or the Texas Rangers--ought to start seriously looking at the operations of the Democratic Party in Travis County and find out what kind of shenanegans they've been up to. After all, it was this very crowd that tried to prosecute Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson (what a waste of Texas taxpayer money that turned out to be!) and was at the very center of the
Rathergate debacle.

I'd argue that so called "Losertarians" are more conservative than most "conservatives" I see on this site.
Hint: If you think Bush is a true conservative, you're in the group I'm talking about.

Wow...how could I ever forget someone that ugly and bitchy to boot!
Ann Richards may have more wrinkles than Dan Rather's replacement.

Me thinks this is the troll that was bragging on DU a few weeks ago, that he had signed up years ago here on FR to disrupt our threads. You never know when a sleeper troll will come out.

Is Ronnie the Rat still DA in Travis County? Doesn't the district he is in have special powers over all state wide investigations?

You are wrong. Not everyone who doesn't tow the GOP party line is a troll. Some people on FR are independent. This isn't about the party line. This is about a guy who went through a bunch of grand juries to get a inditement and has gotten bogus inditements on other people before.

Some merely snipe at Republicans while they wait for Pat Buchanan to land the mother ship and transport the elect to an America that never was. LOL

I'd argue that so called "Losertarians" are more conservative than most "conservatives" I see on this site. "Losertarian" is a term used to decribe how Libertarians fare in elections around the USA. I'm cool with the libertarian (small "l") concept for the most part, but the Libertarian Party is about as useful as a bad case of shingles.

REPETITION FOR EMPHASIS:
...At stake in 2002 was control of the Texas legislature, which was to redraw congressional district lines. Corporate contributions to legislative candidates are illegal in Texas. The DeLay aides stand accused of violating that prohibition, along with eight companies like Sears Roebuck that provided the funds. The corporate money, however, never went to the candidates. Instead, it went to a much larger fund for state elections controlled by the Republican National Committee in Washington. That committee made contributions to Texas legislative candidates, constituting what Earle now charges is "money laundering."
The only problem is that similar transactions are conducted by both parties in many states, including Texas. In fact, on October 31, 2002, the Texas Democratic Party sent the Democratic National Committee (DNC) $75,000, and on the same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $75,000. On July 19, 2001, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000 and, again on the same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000. On June 8, 2001, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000. That very same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000....

Be vigilant of Trolls. The Democrats are desperate for this story to have legs.
When all a party has left is fear-mongering and demagoguery this fantasy could be their only last hope.
The Democrats are like an old cantankerous curmudgeon person on their death bed cursing everyone on their way out.

So do I. Look at most of his other posts. I can not determine what conserv13 stands for, it is definitely not for conservative.
