Admission of guilt? No, it is just what honorable people do when the rules say they have to. You will never find a Dim doing it (i.e. Nagin and Blanko). They are cry babies who cheat and don't know how to play fair.

"Democrats lose at the ballot box -- so trump up charges and get an indictment knowing that DeLay HAS to step down. "

nailed it.

Grand juries are a prosecution tool. In every jurisdiction in America, they are convened by prosecutors and hear evidence brought by the D.A to determine whether to bring an indictment. Usually its pretty pro-forma since the jurors are known to the D.A and he can expect them to do what he wants.

"They are busy giving credibility to the Hate Bush Left and wonder why they continually lose the political PR wars! It does not show how "smart" they are, quite the opposite in fact. We really are the STUPID party some days"

That, my friend, is an excellent point!

Really.

You may want to note the word "generally".

What the hell is the Travis County Prosecutor doing in Fort Bend County?

Texas law gives the DA of Travis County the power to investigate all state officials.

Not even close, I went to military college and lived with a strict honor code.

That's what make's Republican's different from Democrats.

We don't tolerate fraud, corruption, and abuse just to keep our guy in office.

Democrat's will tolerate anything (ala Clinton Impeachment, Lying, etc).

Expect the best out of people and they just might suprise you! I want leadership I can be proud of.

After hearing different commentators on t.v. and all of you, I'm beginning to think the Dems may be overreaching again.

He should have gotten drunk at a party and then taken a woman he wasn't married to and let her drown in a car. That would have ensured him a long career and too much microphone time blowing hot air.
