Come on they don't call this guy the hammer for nothing and remember this is political payback by Texas Democrats for the redistricting issue of 2002.

Ronnie Earle is the same Travis County DA who indicted in 1993 Kay Bailey Hutchison shortly after her election to the Senate. As the trial was about to begin, Earle dropped all charges. IOW, this guy has a reputation for showboat indictments against prominent Republicans. My prediction: this will also never come to trial. Who the hell are you and what have you done to sinkspur? ;-)

The GOP is falling apart. Hillary is going to walk into the White House.
Just damn! Subtract the "just" and you got it.

When the GOP listens to only the inside the beltway group, they fall apart.

If this indictment is BS, then Earle ought to be disbarred. He's the Travis County DA, a solidly-Democrat stronghold. As long as he continues to pursue Republicans, he would be re-elected if caught naked in a barn with a Merino sheep.

Is the timing on this indictment supposed to divert our attention away from the scandals occurring in N.O.? Or is this just happenstance?I think it's time all levels of government are investigated in a very independent manner.
The hurricane blew their cover off in New Orleans. Otherwise, you and I both know it would be business as usual.
American's need to demand investigations/audits at ever level of government.

Good People of Texas,
It is time for you to get regain control of Travis County. From the county of the state capital of Austin, Travis County, birth was given to forged memos. The Democratic Party there flirts with running Dan Rather's daughter for mayor and now indicts Sen. Delay for nonsense.
This county is doing damage to the country. Please toss these moonbats out of office.
Sincerely,
The Sane People of the U.S.

I agree. How ridiculous is this? Every Republican should be aware that the dems are out to get them, and they have the support of almost the entire media as well as large, well-funded organizations who are deeply entrenched in the MSM. Every one of our reps, from the White House to the state level, should be extra careful. Its not fair, but it is the reality.

Judge Nap on FOX saying this DA is overtly and openly political- and LEFT wing Dem at that. ALSO- he brought this indictment on the LAST day of the grand jury- so NO MORE evidence allowed into the hearing.
STINKS all the way over here in Florida...

Political leaders have shelf lives. Delay's shelf life may be passed. If you are Dem like Daschle, you can go into that still night whining and whimpering, Delay will not go into that still night gently.

Is this the guy who says there isn't any fat to trim from thr current budget? Maybe he will be able to find the fat when he isn't in his busy leadership position.

Just enough to poison minds across the USA.

After his shenanigans with regard to illegal immigration, no thanks.
He was asked to take a firm stand before his re-election. The guy was MIA. When confronted on the issue publicly, he did more hemming and hawing than I could stomach.

I think this means that Hastert views this as a temporary thing. Otherwise, I would have expected Roy Blunt (MO) to move up.
