Class Two: Mars Attacks, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Can't Stop the Music (the last one only because I kept waiting for it to get cheesier).
Class Three: Krippendorf's Tribe, Broken Arrow, Young Einstein
"Broken Arrow"
I hope you're talking about the one with John Travolta, and not the western with Jimmy Stewart and Jeff Chandler.
I gotta disagree with you on 'Twister'.
Maybe it was my love of storms and tornadoes that made me go - but I thought the acting was decent and the special effects and chase scenes to be second to none.
Aw cmon! Mars Attacks is incredibly funny...I'm series!
Broken Arrow (w/ Travolta) was horrendous. Pretty much any John Woo is terrible IMO. Face/Off is another awful one by Woo.
Twister was a Cat 3 for me - acting and script were so bad I was rooting for the twister to put an end to it.
Wow, I could never match your list.
"Mars Attacks" is a cult classic LOL.
But I pity those who actually went to the theater to see "Gigli."
I thought Mars Attacks wss brilliant satire of the Dems and the Clinton Administration. I particularly enjoyed Martin Short doing Stephanopoulis (Sp.?) Laughed through the whole thing, especially Nicholson doing the "Can't we all just get along" bit. Also loved the satire on Clinton done by Jack Lemmon and James Garner as the two ex-presidents the Gore character was trying to kill. The critics tried to bury both of them because of they are basically knee padders.
Gotta disagree. I loved Mars Attacks and Roger Rabbit was ok if only for the "nobody takes a beating like Goofy" line. I especially loved the aliens in Mars Attacks being beaten by Slim Whitman music.
of course any thread like this is going to come down to personal pref.
You've just listed half of my favorites. "Joe Vs. the Volcano" is a great, under-rated movie.
