[history]
Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.
You can go to the source above and listen to that segment of his radio show.

I keep thinking that this would be an easy way to get rich quick. DIRECT DEPOSIT into one account.
If city auditors looked the other way re: one account, maybe Nagin's comment that he hoped Compass would make lots of money was kind of a freudian slip.

I expect Mayor Nagin to be indicted soon...as well as other responsible parties. MY question is "did these people only exist on the payroll?" The Superintendent could have been duped or involved...NOLA PD was always corrupt.
To: syriacus
Has anyone considered the Democratic Party heads contacting Blanco and Nagin and asking them to stall the President in order to harm the Republican Party at the expense of NOLA residents. We know what actually happened. FEMA always makes mistakes and many democrats work for FEMA >>CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE MAJOR PLAYER, THE GOVERNOR got to do that.
To: Kackikat
I'll believe the indictment when I see it. So far, other than on Fox and the net, I have not seen anything about the non existent police officers.
To: Lizarde
"I remember reading somewhere here on FR or hearing on
the news (Fox probably) someone say that the police
had sold off all their police boats over the
past couple of years - anybody else hear that? Yes, I heard that to. On the FNC I believe.

I just don't think old Eddie was in it alone. I think they need to keep digging and get the rest of the corruption out before money is turned over to ANY of them for rebuilding.

So how many of these 700 'missing' voted last time? I'd say most of them...
I'd say 150% of them. It is, after all, New Orleans.

...maybe Federalization isn't such a good idea..
the President can appoint a Governor and THAT person can control Louisiana better than Congress overseeing a Marion Barry type Mayor.
Sounds like RECONSTRUCTION II ... Hmmmm.

If this information is true, why are we not hearing a word about it in/on the MSM? As far as I know it's been crickets chirping.

Have you done any googling for info on a husband? I can't locate anything and couldn't then.
If you are talking about the gov, try: "Coach" Blanco. I have never heard a Christian name for him -- just "Coach". He is some sort of functionary at the university in Lafayette. He is reported to have connections with the Shaw Group.
