Quote: .."chubby Sen Mary Landrieu"... who is also daughter of former N.O. mayor "Moon Landrieu" (and just as politically corrupt as the current bunch) - this sort of thing has been going on for many decades...

He's the mayor. Do you have any idea how city councils and mayors operate in a city??? (my dad was a city councilman for 10 years btw and very involved in state politics)

You know it. Very Clintonian.
How many reporters did you actually see inside the Superdome when they were there? Anybody remember who the first reporter in the Dome was?

Hey, if Al Sharpton can do it ...
I believe it was the Louisiana DemocRATs who blew the levee with explosives when they realized there wasn't enough damage to justify a "the records were destroyed in a flood" excuse that they saw as their ticket out of any pending investigation. They HAD to blow the levee and what did they care about their constituency in low-lying areas? after all, they've been sticking it to them for 40 years so what's a little water when it can be Bush's Fault?</conspiracytheoryparody>

Hey, if the media's looking for me, I'm right here, I'll be at work about 30 more minutes but they can call me on my cellphone and arrange for a Fox newsbabe (or Stephanie Abrams) to interview me...
Oh, they're looking for THAT Moose?
Never mind.

How does this have anything to do with Bush? I guess you just didn't see Blanco kissing Bush's azz on FNC eh? Bush after the presser didn't acknowledge Blanco and just walked off...

If this were a Republican, white city administration anywhere in the US, Sixty Minutes and the whole Left would be all over it. As it is, the MSM is gonna do their best to ignore it.

Pretty easy to have those 100,000 police officers that Clinton called for when it looks like quite a few of them don't even exist.
Maybe they're really disenfranchised Ohio voters.

LOL...I forgot the sarcasm tag on that decency line.
NO corruption will be ignored by the MSM. Notice, only FNC covered the resignation presser.

Why would he know of it in the first place?Of course Mayor Nagin would not know about it, because he is not a good mayor or leader.
You are going to get a lot of heat if you continue to defend Nagin and Compass.

I wondered why butter wouldn't melt in Blanco's mouth during that photo op. Lordy lordy, I bet her panties are in a wad to have to be so nice to the President.

Compass is the fellow that sat in the SUV with Oprah and cried that babies were raped at the Superdome/Convention Center. Now, today we are learning that many of the reports were GREATLY exaggerated. Hmmmm ...
