And when I way members of congress, it would NOT suprise me to see Republicans leading the way.

This is not a productive way for Muslims to endear themselves in American hearts. With 9/11 still freshly embedded in our minds, the last thing I want right now is to learn about Ramadan. When every single militant has been held accountable, when suicide bombings stop, and when the hate filled rhetoric I hear constantly from the mouths of Muslims stops, then maybe I'd consider listening to the possibility of recognizing Ramadan. Until then, I'm find it offensive that they are even bringing this to the table.
