He should have said right then that the question proves his point: Giuliani was MAYOR of NYC! That is who is SUPPOSED to be in charge of the city during the first moments of a crisis!

Blanco and Landrieu and Vitters are throwing everything AND the kitchen sink into the requests for money to pour down there.
the only way to stop this madness, is to turn public opinion against Louisiana government by pointing out their corruption and mis-management. its the only way to stop this thing from becoming the "big dig" times 20, and for the republican party to retain any shred of the fiscal responsibility issue.

Shays is like McCain- he can be predictably relied on to sink to the occasion and side with the Democrats.
A family member is very good friends with Shays and constantly tells me what " a good guy he is."
I've yet to see that side of Shays.
As an aside, Chris Shays is a practicing Christian Scientist- was he upset that medicine and doctors were allegedly in short supply at the Convention Center and Superdome ?
