Ward Churchill (Keetoowah Band Cherokee) is one of the most outspoken of Native American activists and scholars in North America and a leading analyst of indigenous issues. He is a Professor of Ethnic Studies and Coordinator of American Indian Studies at the University of Colorado. Churchill serves as Associate Director of the Center for Studies of Ethnicity and Race in America at the institution. He is also co-director of the Colorado chapter of the American Indian Movement and vice chair of the American Indian Anti-Defamation Council. 

Churchill’s many books include Marxism and Native Americans, Fantasies of the Master Race, Struggle for the Land, On the Justice of Roosting Chickens, From A Native Son, Critical Issues in Native North America, The COINTELPRO Papers, Indians R Us?, Agents of Repression, Since Predator Came, and A Little Matter of Genocide: Holocaust and Denial in the Americas.

Tickets are $12.00 General Admission

$10.00 Discount (applies to seniors (60+) and to students currently enrolled in an institution other than Shoreline CC

$6.00 SCC/Kids (applies to current students of SCC and children 14 and under)

All events are general seating

Tickets are available at the door the day of the show (unless the event is sold out in advance - please call ahead)

Ticket purchases will not be refunded unless an event is cancelled.

Services and accommodations for individuals with disabilities are available with at least one week's advance arrangement with the college.  Call (206) 546-4606

To purchase tickets in person, please visit our cashier's office in the FOSS (5000) building.  Regular business hours are 8AM to 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8AM to 4 PM Friday.

I heard John Carlson's interview of her....it mainly served to reaffirm my preexisting opinion of the current state of 'higher education' in Washington (it's rarely as the name implies).
John tried to get a straight answer out of her on several points and for someone who was a 'spokeperson' for the college in this matter she was breathtakingly evasive, inept and ill-informed....just what I would expect from someone in her position.
