Aside from the Revlon, I use Colorfast.
It is really a lip dye that does not wipe off. Just cover it with a gloss.
No lip rings.
It doesn't last 8 hours though.

I had a gorgeous rooster once..
Named him Hank..
He was the nastiest SOB this side of the Mississippi..
Found him as a baby on the side of the road..
Turns out he was a fighting cock that somebody ditched..
He has spurs as big as yer thumb..
He calmed down after I got him some hens..
Things were good right up until he attacked the meter reader from the power company.
