Don't feel bad. I voted for Warren Rudman a couple of times at least. That man is despicable. Thankfully he retired or only the grim reaper might have removed him from the Senate.
I agree with your assessment of Miller v. McCain and Hagel. And your tagline made me LMAO!

If Dan Quayle had remained in the Senate, we may have never had a second Senator Bayh, but then again he may have defeated Quayle in the 1992 Senate general election. People in IN have faith in the Bayhs. Most Hoosiers think Bayh is "conservative."

'Cause he's far more conservative then the average looney Dem. He's from Indiana, for chrissakes. We are the 75% red state. How liberal can he be ?

Did you notice how all the moderate Dem's were kept really really quiet during the last election ? Bayh couldn't get a squeak in.

Yes, he's trowing bones to the left's hyenas. Not that I would vote for him for the president over a decent republican, but he's definitely not a run of the mill Dem.

This vote will hurt him badly.

Oh Grow Up :(P! I am from Indiana and I voted for Marvin Scott. Not only that but Bayh is a lot like Edwards, I don't think he'll make it :/.

I in no way understand this response to my picture of sheep. It is a commentary on the Democrats voting on John Roberts.

Red State Dems vote Yes unless they are running for President then they vote Nay. Blue state Democrats vote Nay.

No thought, no consideration -- SHEEP

I was under the impression that Bayh WAS trying for a while to be a "moderate" or cross over candidate...

I don't know who is giving him advice but, it started long before this vote...and it has ruined his chances for POTUS, IMHO...

however, he may just be trying for VP...but how could anyone trust him...

I think that Indiana already HAS the best candidate for POTUS....Rep. Mike Pence!!!!

Do not fret.
Bayh will be no problem for us in 2008.
He is as bland as unsalted gravy.
BORING!

I would have preferred that Dan Coats had the guts to take on Bayh in the 98 election.

You voted for Warren? Did you vote for panty waste Jeb or panty waste Charlie?

I would have preferred that Dan Coats be in Don Rumsfeld's position. Another bad choice by GWB.

Bush got 60%+ in 2004 in Indiana, so did Bayh.

I think Bayh could be a real problem for us in '08.

Bayh Voted again Gonzales and Rice what the big surprise that he would vote against another qualified person?

Not from what I'm seeing.

If the Democrat base was the same as it was in '92 or '96, I'd agree with you... but it AIN'T. A lot of these 'citizens' believe Hillary's too conservative... their politics are more in-line with a Kucinich or a Dean.

By the way, is Birch Bayh, Sr., unseated by Quayle in 1980, still living?
