(NOTE: this is not a joke post. I really did have this conversation this morning.)
=======================================================================
After a brief discussion with a staffer at the office of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), I am pleased to report, exclusively for FreeRepublic, that his office will not accept any more illegally obtained credit reports of GOP officials.
A controversy was created by two Schumer aides who illegally obtained the credit report of Republican Michael Steele, who is expected to run for the Senate from Maryland.
Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, potential candidate for U.S. Senate.
When the Schumer staffer was told that I had credit reports on several Republican officials and asked if Senator Schumer could use them, the staffer answered, "Pardon me?" I then made reference to the Steele case and said that I thought he might want some more Republican credit reports. He was still taken aback, and the staffer responded, "I don't think that's something he's looking for right now."
So Republicans who don't have clean credit reports can feel relieved. Senator Chuck Schumer will not be actively working with his aides to illegally obtain such information. We applaud the Senator for not wanting to be involved in any more illegal activity.
Schumer = slimeball
(Just my opinion of course.)
BOO!
At least none that they'll admit.
After listening to his speech at the RNC Convention in 2004, it would not hurt my feelings one iota at some time in the future to say President Steele.
hehe i like your style.
I don't see the MSM after schumer. Had it been a Republican, we would have had days demanding criminal investigations,resignations, on and on. I wonder how many Hillary has in her folder
And in other news, Schumer just held a super-secret Soros fundraiser.
Left-wing billionaire George Soros is once again raising money for the Democrats he hosted a super-secret fund-raiser at his New York home that netted $250,000 for Sen. Charles Schumers Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
The gathering of about 60 friends and acquaintances marked Soros first foray back into politics since he spent $25 million last year in an effort to defeat President Bush.
Republicans were quick to react when they learned of the Soros fund-raiser, according to the publication The Hill. "I think it is shocking that Democrats would treat him as a mainstream force of Democratic politics, said Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). "He has an agenda that transcends American interests.
Soros is often associated with hot-button issues that most politicians would avoid, such as decriminalization of drugs, assisted suicide and voting rights for felons, The Hill reports. For example, he has helped fund initiatives that would lighten criminal penalties for drug use.
lmbo bump!
Funny!
Ol' Chuckie will just find a more under-the-radar way of doing it....
WAY TO GO!!!!
ADOUGFROMUPLANDTHREADPING!!!!
doug from upland takes on Chucky "Schmucky" Schumer.
Isn't that just SO convenient.
"I don't think that's something he's looking for right now."Ah, the staffer leaves open he possibility of looking for them at a later date, perhaps when the "vast right-wing blogosphere" (VRWB) isn't paying attention anymore.
I agree... Aparently his staff is not all that stupid. To take a blind phone call like the writer did would be absolutely insane.
Now if he showed up in person with a sealed envelope, I think he would have received a different outcome.
Yes he missed the website for recieving FBI files and other secret info through CBS for plausible deniability.
I am surprised they talked to you being your not from NY.
Good job : )
