Book Claims Sex Abuse Not Harmful
by Steve Jordahl

Once again an attempt is made to promote the shocking theory that pedophilia is good.

An old heresy is surfacing again. Sexual contact between adults and children is normal, even beneficial to children and can serve as a useful tool in the mentoring process. In a new book about the role of homosexuality in ancient Greece and Rome, Temple University Professor Bruce Rind claims sex between adults and children can be beneficial. Therapist Joe Nicolosi has seen the "benefits" in dozens of victims.

"It lowers self-esteem, it lowers trust, it creates profound self-doubts about oneself, it creates future difficulties in terms of intimacy and trust."

The assertion that homosexuality and child sexual abuse were accepted norms of ancient cultures has no basis in fact.

"Absolutely not. That is a mythology promoted by gay activists to justify and to find legitimacy in their perversion."

But the fact that the view is published at all troubles Dr. Warren Throckmorton of Pennsylvania's Grove City College.

"With the publication of this book I am concerned that the effort here is to make this view mainstream."

Nicolosi claims homosexuality is at the root of most abuse of young boys, the focus of a great deal of the book, and points to the sex scandal in the Catholic Church as an example. Rind was published by the American Psychological Association several years ago, but public outcry was so severe the APA repudiated the paper. He did not return repeated calls for comment.

"The fact that so many actually believe its so okay to kill babies. What immorality can top that?"

I don't have an answer for you, but somewhere, some Liberal is working zealously on developing an answer for you.

Very, very true. It took my husband and I 10 years to conceive her. She was worth the wait. I used to wonder "why me" during all of those 10 years... I mean, hadn't I suffered enough? But now I know. SHE had to be born, and it wasn't the right time before. :o)

The Bible says they will call good evil, and evil good.

You are describing the behavior of Democrats, enviros, Liberals - the whole Communism Lite crowd.

Will they ever forgive either of us? Will we ever care?

I'll be pretty worried if they start liking me.

If you mean the sodomy lobby won't be satisfied with gay marriage, then the answer is yes. Its called "societal evolution." Or that should be de-evolution. A lifetime ago the only people advocating gay marriage where found in insane asylums. Today its mainstream. Now we're seeing the same trend happen with pedophiles. They're not perverts mind you, just another misunderstood minority and adult male sex with little boys is as natural as breathing. No, that's not my view but you gotta understand exactly where these people are heading.

People who are slaves are not free. There are many kinds of slavery.

People who are self confident and not addicted to anything are harder to dominate.

Academia is generally a nest of vipers. Anyone thinking of attending or sending a ward to an institution of higher learning should pick very carefully. A few weeks ago I pinged one of my lists to an article which listed conservative colleges/universities.
