After five days managing near-riots, medical horrors and unspeakable living conditions inside the Superdome, Louisiana National Guard Col. Thomas Beron prepared to hand over the dead to representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Following days of internationally reported killings, rapes and gang violence inside the Dome, the doctor from FEMA - Beron doesn't remember his name - came prepared for a grisly scene: He brought a refrigerated 18-wheeler and three doctors to process bodies.

"I've got a report of 200 bodies in the Dome," Beron recalls the doctor saying.

The real total was six, Beron said.

Of those, four died of natural causes, one overdosed and another jumped to his death in an apparent suicide, said Beron, who personally oversaw the turning over of bodies from a Dome freezer, where they lay atop melting bags of ice. State health department officials in charge of body recovery put the official death count at the Dome at 10, but Beron said the other four bodies were found in the street near the Dome, not inside it. Both sources said no one had been killed inside.

We DO need a commission to identify and remove the communists from the news media. This should be a facet of the War on Terror.

My opinion, the Anti-American sentiments being expressed by some of our Hollywood actors seem to validate the work that McCarthy started. The movie industry has done much to destroy American values. Now the communism/socialist influence is being noticed inside the News industry -- as a way to further its Anti-American cause.

Who will step up to this task of exposing the MSM as being Anti-American? We all know that it is true. But the average person STILL believes that "if it is reported on TV, it must be TRUE."

I actually saw an evacuee on television who said she came from the SD and walked past bodies "stacked like cord wood" and "a baby was lying dead on the top". at the time I thought that highly improbable, but just goes to show how some people will lie to get in the spotlight. You know the MSM would have flashed a picture like that around the world.

Beats me. There were a number of babies born in the midst of all this. That would result in bloody sheets, and I don't doubt that people were injured, though not killed. That results in blood, too.

I watched little of the TV coverage. I can't stomach CNN and FOX was getting on my nerves last week, too.

Yep! But talk about a bloodbath if that were to be said publicly--by publicly I mean if someone in a position to actually publish widely were to say it. Hollywood is a nest of American hating vipers, with a few exceptions.

Those deaths, from what I've read, did NOT occur in the Convention Center or the Superdome. In the absence of police presence there were several murders in NO, not unlike any other weekend in the city. There were rival gangs who were killing each other, and I daresay a murder or two, the idea of which had been festering, which found a convenient situation.

In the story i saw, it said one of those bloody corpses belonged to an elderly person. Who knows? I KNOW the media will LIE in a heartbeat to get a sensational story out there, yet it is also well-known that the NOPD has a lot of "bad seeds" and they probably would prefer we not know that they were not protecting folks.

I really did believe that the media was trying to make an effort to make us look vulnerable.

Brings Shepard Smith to mind, while he was doing bridge duty..."Come give us your bitch" as he'd stick his mic in the face of evacuee after evacuee.
