Liberals, and by virtue, the MSM are a lot like the Arab culture. Truth is but a vague concept to them. It's all about how you can project your feelings and paint your opponent in the color and image of your perceptions about them.

Further proof that the MSM is our Fifth Column enemy...

What a travesty. From the weeping, whining Broussard fraud to the irresponsible, hysterical lies from Mayor Nagin that "thousands" of people were dying in the streets, it's little wonder people with a head on their shoulders have lost almost complete faith in where this country is headed.

"The real total was six, Beron said."

The looney left and the MSM are deeply saddened...

And, of course, "Bush's Fault!" ;)

By near-hysterical members of the MSM, Fox included, no less.

If they can't even tell the truth anymore, it may be time to remove, "of the press" from the 1st Amendment.

trying to embarrass the administration requires a lot of lying.

I think it may be a while before we realize most of what happened, and some will never be told. I was appalled that the media went on a frenzy with all this stuff, apparently wanting to assure the terrorists that there was chaos in America, just in case they had the time to drop in and do some havoc of their own. I really did believe that the media was trying to make an effort to make us look vulnerable.

Cover up?

I don't think so. I just think the media got overly excited and started floating rumors that started God knows where. It is also likely that they reported the deaths so often that folks started counting the same ones again and again, thus inflating the numbers. I'm not surprised there were some natural deaths in the Superdome. It had been announced at the very beginning as an evacuation location for Special needs and the elderly, two groups who are in fragile health at the best of times.

They now say nobody was stabbed or cut and those 6 died of natural causes (with exception to the suicide). Well, I recall seeing a news video on CNN showing several bodies in the SD or Convention Center, covered with sheets and blood on the floor and the sheets! The reporter said the bodies were mutilated and at that time, they didn't know if the people had been cut before or after death. I didn't read EVERY word of this article, but what I skimmed over, I didn't see mention of this. Did CNN totally stage that (entirely possible) or did it really happen? As I said, I DID see blood and bloody sheets.

No wonder FEMA wasn't watching the MSM. We don't need a Katrina commission, we need a commission to investigate the MSM.

trying to embarrass the administration requires a lot of lying.

That's what happens when the President is a honest man of character and principles. The democRATs having only vague ideas of what honesty is have no first hand experience to fall back on.

To a democRAT being honest is knowing their are no witnesses who can prove you are lying.

Nagin frankly acknowledged that he doesn't know the extent of the mayhem that occurred inside the Dome and the Convention Center - and may never. "I'm having a hard time getting a good body count," he said.

Frankly, I have the impression Nagin has a hard time getting a good count of his own fingers and toes.

Were the four or six victims of cannabalism as reported by Randall Robinson on September 2nd?

It is reported that black hurricane victims in New Orleans have begun eating corpses to survive.

As I said, I DID see blood and bloody sheets.

There was one suicide at the Dome -- a guy who jumped from one of the upper decks. That tends to make for a lot of mess.

You mean the story about dozens of bodies with throats slashed and young women raped is incorrect?

MSM can not be trusted or respected. They invent and distort the news.

This all depends on who did the investigating. The NOPD is NOT a credible police agency anymore...

You mean that people weren't dying of thirst and hunger? by the score? To hear the news I expected hundreds of dead. I guess the news outlets shared the same bodies.
