Girls 14 to 21 are part of scouting in the Venture program that is co-ed. They are very active and able to to more "high adventure" scouting than regular troops. They can shoot pistols and navigate higher class rapids in white water.

Would it be possible to claim that this group is terrorizing these boys and get a restraining order against them? It probably wouldn't wash, but I was just wondering.

A coalition of homosexual activists and atheists plan to march on a Boy Scout camp in San Diego next month demanding the organization open its membership and leadership to them.

I think a coalition of heterosexual activists and theists should march on the headquarters of Scouting for All and demand it open its membership to them. Same with GLAAD and other such groups. Seriously, why does this demand for open membership work in only one direction? Why don't THEY open THEIR membership to US?

Actually, with regards to female membership the BSA is among the minority worldwide. There are 28 million Scouts and Scouters in 156 different Scouting associations in the World Organization of Scouting Movements (WOSM), and the ones that don't allow girls of all ages along with the boys tend to be the Moslem countries and us. I think we have good reasons for what we do, but I have to confess that I don't like the company we're keeping in that regard.

There is some group called World Scouts. Why don't they just join them and leave the Boy Scouts alone?
