I am also waiting for the charge he cares more about Texas because of oil and the fact it is his home state I wonder how many times that will said or inferred.

I'm looking forward to Timmy R's probing of lie that President of Jefferson Parish, Aaron Broussard, told him.
I know Russert will do a hard-hitting, in-depth interview to get to the truth.
Russert's first question to Broussard will probably be: "Shouldn't you resign?"
====
[Snap. Blink. Then I awaken. It was only a dream.]
===
Russert, if he doesn't apologize soon, will drop to the same level of Dan Rather, who tried to pass off the 'intent' rather than the 'fact'.
Russert allowed President of Jefferson Parish, Aaron Broussard, to lie. And so far, even after Broussard's crying story has proved false, I have yet to hear Russert retract it or condemn it.

Russert was fair upto the 9/11 interview he conducted with Cheney. During last election cycle he almost become a democratic activist just like the other Pravda-media.Once the MSM was outed, they figured it wasn't worth the effort to keep up the pretense of fairness. Now they've taken off the mask and they're out there for everyone to see. It's ugly, but at least they are no longer trying to hide it. That's why circulation and ratings are down. They're just too dumb to figure out what it all means. :o)

Is there any reason to have McCain on this Sunday other than the fact that he's John McCain? I guess they know where to get a Republican who is a reliable Bush-basher?

Good Sunday morning.
Anyone hear how the VP is doing?
To: Bahbah
Yes it does thank God I presume that he will be working from home for a few days but I suppose we will know more when he is release from the hospital probably Monday. I cannot imagine being semi aware and someone operating on you for 6 hours.
May he continue to progress well and not be tempted to do too much too quickly.

G'morning. I read that Cheney went into the hospital for surgery on one knee and the docs decided to do both knees while they were at it......also that everything went well, he's to stay 48 hrs., and is ok.
On another note, I simply cannot stand to watch or hear Gergen, who is now a professor of something or other at Duke University in Durham, NC.

Bloomberg Radio just reported that Cheney underwent operation on both legs & it went well without any problems. He will get briefing on Rita this afternoon.

As far as I know no further news than yesterday when it was said the surgery went very smoothly so smoothly that they decided to do both knees. He is due to be in the hospital for up to 48 hours and resume his normal schedule when released to home. Not sure if that means he will be working from home for a few days or not probably be more details when he is released which I suppose is either late today or tomorrow.
