In case you missed it, it wasn't his "private property" to begin with.

Thats destruction of private property. That is against the law.
To: PositiveCogins
Animal cruelty and the laws against it trumps your inane "private property" argument. To think otherwise is daft.

Just fore discussion. Whats the difference in a kitten and a dog ,and a mouse and a pet snake? One can be just as cruel in his own mind by having a pet snake just for the joy of watching it eat a mouse. Yet its ok. Where is the line drawn between the two and who has the right to draw that line? Are you sure you're not a libertarian? It sounds like you're being coy-- the beginnings of a typical libertarian attempt at entrapment.
Well, relax, at least I didn't imply you might be a PETA member.

"charged with first-degree cruelty to animals" What about destruction of private property? How about the intrinsic value of the kitten?
To: Uncle Joe Cannon
Shoot the dog.
Neuter him.

Some people have mice for pets too.

I sat in a very tight spot in the backseat with crates carrying 3 adult cats and 5 kittens to evacuate the hurricane winds that were predicted(thankfully changed)in our area..
The thought that one could be so cruel to one of these kittens is appalling. The man is dangerous to humans, too, if he is so cruel to a kitten. He also traumatized the children...

"Cruelty is one thing and what you do with your own private property is another." This was your original statement. I pointed out that the kitten wasn't his private property to begin with. Don't worry about making a fool of yourself with your statements; I did it earlier today on an unrelated thread :)

Actually if I saw someone feed a kitten to a pitbull for fun I'd knock him into next week.

You have made your point, gotten some attention. Feel better?

"making a fool of yourself with your statements" No. It
was just for discussion. How long will it be before "cruelty
to animals" is used for cows, chickens, pigs, etc? Who decides whats cruel and whats not?
To: MEG33
Not yet but getting there.
To: indcons
No fool, dallink!!! You just used absurdity to make a point and then realized how clever you were!
