* Code Pink has contributed at least $600,000 to the treacherous rebels who are blowing up innocent Iraqi children and adults as well as Iraqi and U.S. soldiers. This group is absolutely an enemy of the United States of America and it is supported by God-hating Communists who are seeking to demoralize America, seize all private guns and property and have the United Nations rule America.

* A.N.S.W.E.R. is a front organization for many groups including the American Communist Party. If you think these people are harmless 'peace-seekers' please study them and realize they are among the anti-God militants pushing to empower the State and steal your rights--and property.

* Greenpeace and 'Greens' are sometimes well-meaning but misguided people--using environmental issues as a cover for Marxist land seizures, thwarting private enterprise and causing the cost of oil, housing and much more to skyrocket far higher than would otherwise be necessary.

The 'religious groups' that are calling for 'peace' are actually warmongering Israel-haters and America-haters, wolves in sheep's clothing. These anti-God frauds are the ones who cry "Peace, Peace but there is no peace."

No, Iraq is not Vietnam. Vietnam was a politically divisive time when many unwilling soldiers led by people who where often more interested in playing with technology and favoring the war equipment manufacturers, overwhelmed the objective of actually winning the war.

It wasn't about winning battles, or the ground troops; they fought well and we won virtually every one; but, there was a growing fear and reluctance among those who may be called to service, and a failure by higher authority to strategically exploit our victories. Hanoi and all of the infrastructure and population centers within North Vietnam should have been under constant and heavy bombardment. Whatever ground we seized should have been held. We didn't have the will to do that, so we lost.

We are doing better in Iraq. Our professional military is the best there is, and remains highly motivated. We should do our best to show our appreciation by rewarding these people. We have also done well to resist turning this war into a mountain of political pork. As bad as the spending is; it remains a tiny part of the overall economy. We have not seen a massive expansion in the manufacture of weapons systems, and it has had virtually no impact on employment. Most of us are clear that we want to see this war ended soon, and ended successfully. Our livelihood is not dependent on the persecution of an active war.

If we do find ourselves bogged down in Iraq, it is because of our leaderships lack of political will and clarity. They wants to win; but, only if they can do it with minimal casualties on either side; and, their willingness to win has yet to define a clear measure of what such a victory would entail. You cannot win a war without killing and breaking the enemy; and, our interest in Iraq may diverge sharply with the short term ideology of a pure democracy. Democracy in and of itself is nothing more then might makes right. You need to establish functional institutions, a public which respects those institutions, and a body of political candidates that are willing to support those, in order to form a functional democratic regime. The idea that we can somehow pop up and pull a working democracy out of a ballot box is stupid. It will take decades, if ever, to build a stable system.

The important thing is to establish a stable system which serves our objectives. What would be the point in expending American lives, and American wealth, to produce a democracy which is hostile to our purpose? We should stop fooling around with the ballot box and establish the needed institutions. There will be time to build up and evolve democratic process later on. It will happen since self determination is at the core of our values. But, the institutions come first, and resistance to those should be decisively broken through brutal force; that is how wars work, and that is what we need to remember, if we want to actually win this thing.

Don't get me wrong - I support the President's policy of fighting terrorists wherever they may be, but it seems that the implementation of this policy has gone awry.

The Generals in charge in Iraq all came from the Viet Nam era and seem to be religiously following the same failed strategy
- namely, move in, attack insurgents, run up a body count for the press to report, profess a pacification policy for the masses, and move out, leaving the area for the insurgents to moveback in. This policy failed in Viet Nam and it will fail again. The politicians always spout "We are trying to win the peace". That's a good soundbite for the Liberal press, but it doesn't really work.

The only thing these islamofascist animals understand is brute force, and brute force is what we need to give them. Round the clock B-52 saturation bombing, including strikes against their safe-havens in Iran and Jordan would be a good start. If the islamic civilian population wants to avoid being "collateral damage", then they'd best join us and point out all the insurgents and not give them aid. Let's either go all out to win this war, or get out and save some American lives.

War is hell and we need to make sure that it is hell for the islamofascists, not us.
