You are right. It does smell weird outside! Organic does describe it.
It is *not* a good smell. I've never smelled anything like that before - except for after the LA Riots when the burned out buildings started decaying, and then it was overlaid by a burned smell.
It's like a combination of rotting vegetation, stagnant water, and rotting meat.
