On two different occasions is saw 'ghosts' as clear as day, but I'm confident that it was just because I was working 100+ hour weeks back then. Stress + fatigue = waking dreams (for me).
Plugging new info in (4 minutes north, 3 minutes east) though I really didn't want to (too much NAs and EXTRAPs in there for me to like)...
Movement 33 degrees (ENE) and 4.8 nm/5.5 mi for a speed of 13 knots/15 mph (I told you I didn't like this one).
That position puts Sabine Pass 38.6 nm/44.4 mi out at a course of 326.
From listening a meterologist at KPLC in Lake Charles, it seems like the southern eye wall bomb (stronger by about 20 mph than the northen eye wall hitting Cameron) will hit Port Arthur (Sabine Pass). Geraldo is not out of the woods.
I went out and told my husband we had a ghost and he laughed at me so I said come see what I mean... he came into the room with me and our dog would not go into the room. It was several hours before he suddenly bounded into the room like nothing had ever happened.
I didn't actually see it, but there was a definitely presence. I think it freaked out my husband, but he never admitted it..
sure am thinking of you onyx.
Anyone catch the season ending cliffhanger of Battlestar Galactica tonight on sci fi?
It was a good one.
Not one Bush bash or Cindy Sheehan reference for the whole hour. Quite refreshing...
Geraldo is not out of the woods.

Oh Please Lord, (teeheehee)
saw him earlier, looked like a drowning rat.
I lived in Grosse Pointe during the Detroit riots. The Mafia assumed neighborhood watch duty and 'eliminated' any problems. Even took out the trash, returning to the 'hoods.'
Calcasieu Pass reporting 99mph sustained winds. 112 - 130mph gusts.
Inner eyewall approx 10-15 miles off shore.
I hope he is too, cherry...
When I was growing up, Dairy Queen had the best hamburgers in fries ever. Our treat was for our grandmother to take us to DQ to get burgers and fries for dinner... they don't use the same quality or quantity of meat these days as back then.
We bought our tickets for this ride. We are going to ride it!
Just wait until we release the hounds!!
Yappy lil' rats that they are.
"...all evacuated in about 72 hours..."
Huh? I thought the highways are still all clogged up and they were all going to die out there?! /s
I had to turn off the radio when O'Reilly was screaming how the evacuation plan "failed" 'cuz people spent 14 hours in their cars.
Sounds to me that moving thousands of times more people than the roads are designed for WILL be a major pain in the arse, but it was NOT a failure.
Wow. A lot of power, scary power in that movement.
Some dogs can have a 6th sense or something - it's pretty amazing. I read a ridiculous book about physic pets that actually had some amazing stories.
That is good to hear... My DH is sleepin like a baby, only wakes up every two hours and cries about having to load the woodstove in the middle of the night, because the Tennesee gas pipeline might get totally "smushed" from all this.
Believe me, I am not dissing Freepers by posting this, but no one is thinking about the long term consequences of this total disaster yet...
Not a good chart.
Yes - it was great!!! Too bad we'll have to wait until Janurary.
No smoking, promise?
Glad to hear you are in Dallas...I will sell you some dry land in Albuquerque if you keep heading west
