Eye wall will touch the coast at 2 central. It's very close now. After coming ashore it's expected to take yet another turn to the East.

I'm just watching the Rita coverage and hoping my Sister (in Katy, TX) will be okay. Katy is on the west side, as is El Gran, and they don't seem to be getting even very much rain, at least for the time being.

Ducks eat tomatoes? Why, as a matter of fact they do, when they get hungry enough. *smirk*
Back when I lived within sight of my parents' house, Mom began asking me if I was coming over to their garden while they were gone and taking their tomatos. "Not that we mind or anything..." but she seemed to think I was lying when I denied it. Meanwhile I'm wondering what's the big deal, even if I had been taking their maters, it wouldn't have been enough at one time to put a dent in the supply, considering the size of Dad's garden. Apparently they still thought it was me til one morning when they awoke to squabbling out in the garden. The ducks from the pond on the next property over were fighting over who would wind up in possession of a green mater. Seems the long-time tenant who supplimented their feed had moved out, and the new folks had no idea the critters were short on their expected food.
There. I imparted knowledge that was of no use to you, and I'll bet you 'member it til the day you die. You can thank me for that mind worm later. ;o)

Great cuts tonight/this morning, Divas and Drumbo!
Hi, Ma!
In the mood for some Dixieland or Bluegrass.
Any chance of digging up the Village Stompers' "Washington Square" or some Seldom Scene from The Cellar Door?
Jack.

And people believe that all we do is goof off in the Canteen. Who knew that such enlightenment could come at almost 2:30 in the morning.
