That's not anger .. that's total disgust. When he gets that look on his face .. look out .. he is not a happy camper. LOL! It usually means there will be some changes coming - SOON!

Here's the formula:

Right click on the picture (or the little red x) - when the menu drops down, click on "properties" which is at the bottom of the menu - highlight and copy the URL - click OK - put your cursor in the "Address" window and delete the old address - paste in the URL you just copied - press enter.

At this point the picture should show up on a clean page. All you have to do is press "Back" and the picture should re-appear within the document.

I use this method all the time - it always works.

Gregory actually asked the president today if he didn't think he and his entourage would be in the way by going to check on progress of hurricane preparations. Someone needs to shoot this idiot. He was one of the leaders in complaining because the President didn't go to New Orleans soon enough. Now he's complaining because he's going early. There is NOTHING this president can do that will shut this guys mouth. I CANNOT stand him. I've sent him emails about his dumb questions, but of course, I never hear from him.

See my post #223. I hate david gregory with a passion. He's so ugly and thinks he's God's gift. I can't even think of words bad enough to describe him.

If we had to deal with the stupid questions the press ask him, plus accusing him in the way they ask the question, we'd be tired too. I'm gettng old and wrinkled, just listening to them.

I could not understand for the life of me why geogory turned against Dubya; now it is clear, he is prepping for the beast's hopeful ascent to the W.H., maybe he's bucking for w.h. spokesman's job. GOD doesn't like ugly and he is both ugly and ugly acting, what goes around comes around and he will get his in due time!!!!!

Hopefully your flood plains have not been built on like some of mine locally have and that you will not suffer personal flooding prayers and thoughts for you and yours.

I agree the stupid MSM would say that whatever was being said he either was showing no interest in or was over his head.

IMHO though he is not happy with what is being either said or done remember Brown when he was talking in the hanger the expression on the President's face was similar. Brown did not last long after that.

I agree with you changes somewhere will be afoot; they maybe local, so we may not hear about them or only people in the in will. I suspect though either a head will roll or their will be a change of direction for someone or something.

Personally I agree with what the President did re Katrina. I think the original decision to go to Texas which was later rescinded was probably his aids/spin doctors advise to show to the America people that he was on the ball this time. The things a politician and particular a President or PM has to do in this day and age is crazy one can understand why Dick Cheney has no wish for the top spot.

Ridiculous because we all know he was more on the ball than Blanco was. Maybe the only thing I would say that where the Federal Government possibly miscalculated was that they were assuming Blanco would be as competent as Jeb Bush in Florida. This of course was shown to be way off beam. However the Federal Government should not have to cover up a Governor's incompetence they should be able to work seamlessly with them not constantly battle them.

Amen! I don't remember Reagan getting this much meanness and he didn't have the house or senate majorities. One thing that bothers me is that Bush has both and yet not one Republican has shown any backbone to help him. They are too scared of the media.

Speaking of the President's unhappy/angry expression, I noticed it, too, and I was trying to think of what, since the Katrina aftermath, could have riled him up to this extent.

Have you heard the story about Julie Myers? She is his nominee for the Immigration Service under Homeland Security. Many people of the Left, Right and Center are saying she is clearly unqualified for the postion when compared to the qualifications of those who were passed over for the post...but the real scoop is that she is married to Mike Chertoff's Chief of Staff.

Therefore her boss, Chertoff at Homeland Security, would be the same boss her husband has, if she's confirmed.

In addition, she is the niece of Joint Chiefs Chairman Richard Myers.

It LOOKS like Nepotism.

Insiders say that Chertoff is mainly behind her selection and the President deferred to Chertoff's wishes in selecting her. Do you suppose the President did not know she is Chertoff's Chief of Staff's wife, or that she is Myers' niece? And now that a big public row is happening, he is mad at Chertoff for pushing her appointment?

Also, there is the Able Danger hearings, where Rummy first refused to let the men testify in open session about the Pentagon's Able Danger program that reportedly identified Atta, the lead hijacker on Sept. 11, more than a year earlier, then suddenly Rummy says never mind, they CAN TESTIFY in open hearings after all. Do you suppose the President told Rummy to let all the facts come out, as long as intelligence currently going on is not compromised, and that he did not like the original position taken by Rummy because it made things LOOK like a coverup, whether it was or not?

If you look at the still photos or the videos of Myers, Rummy, Chertoff, et al, they all appeared very glum and down-in-the mouth. Was this only because everyone was worried about Hurricane Rita, or could the President have told some of them some things they did not enjoy hearing?

Just wondering...

I wish I could believe that Mike but it is proved in the past that political parties can take a hit under certain circumstance. Such as high gas prices. The liberals will do their best to make the American people believe that we can clean up the hurricane mess and stay in Iraq. They will try to make people believe the Replicans are more interested in waging war then helping the American people. I am concerned about the 2006 elections.

The President has a highly qualified staff .. and I don't think something like Meyers' or Chertoff's connections would have escaped them.

However, I think a FRESH FACE and NEW IDEAS could be a very good thing. And .. we have to remember, although her experience may be questionable .. her goals may be just what the President wants - somebody who will ruffle feathers, and shake up the dept - which it surely needs. And .. I'm basing that on just the overall type of person Bush has appointed to every position - they are all REFORMERS and REORGANIZERS.

Secondly, I don't think the look is for the Meyers appointment. I think it's about the stinking media and it's also about the organization of FEMA - because Bush is very big on efficient organization.

And .. my understanding .. from reading all the smarmy stuff about Able Danger .. was that it was NOT Rummy who made the decision the officers could not testify. Never forget there are plenty of Clinton-leftovers in the Pentagon who do NOT WANT THIS INFORMATION MADE PUBLIC.

And .. that understanding was fortified by Sessions who said that he planned to discuss the situation with Rumsfeld when he came to the Senate to give a briefing. Evidently Sessions got his discussion .. and Rumsfeld okayed the testimony.

Bush does NOT MICRO-MANAGE - except if there are gross errors, like those made by Powell - whereby Bush had to tell Powell to rectify Powell's own misstatements. So I don't believe Bush and Rumsfeld even discussed this issue.

There's my 2 cents.

I don't know how that man keeps his job--except for the fact of all the Libs that he works for just fan the fire! He is irrelevant as far as I am concerned and I just know the Prez just doesn't pay that much attention to little poopy-heads like David Gregory!

Yes I was surprised but they revealed in the President answer and were disgusted that the question was asked in the first place inferring that it showed a lack of respect for the Presidency.
