Today the President went to The headquarters of FEMA to be briefed on the relief efforts underway for Hurricane Rita , he also awarded Korean War era veteran Corporal Tibor "Ted" Rubin the Medal Of Honor for his bravery while in captivity at a Chinese POW camp, President Bush then headed for NORTHCOM headquarters to oversee the the coordination between Federal, State and Local officials as the Hurricane lands ashore
QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Laura and I welcome you to the White House. This is a special occasion for our nation. We're here to pay tribute to a soldier with an extraordinary devotion to his brothers in arms, and an unshakeable love for his adopted homeland of America. Corporal Tibor "Ted" Rubin's many acts of courage during the Korean War saved the lives of hundreds of his fellow soldiers. In the heat of battle, he inspired his comrades with his fearlessness. And amid the inhumanity of a Chinese prisoner of war camp, he gave them hope. Some of those soldiers are here today, and they have never forgotten what they owe this man. And by awarding the Medal of Honor to Corporal Rubin today, the United States acknowledges a debt that time has not diminished."

President Bush speaks to reporters after attending a briefing on Hurricane Rita at FEMA headquarters, Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, in Washington. Bush had planned to go to San Antonio, Texas later in the day but dropped that visit because search and rescue teams there were being relocated. Bush later left for Colorado to monitor Rita's progress from the U.S. Northern Command in Colorado Springs. At left is Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.

Praying for Bush. His face says it all. God bless him and give him wisdom.
That blowhard Gregory was on msnbc stating dubya was just looking for a photo op; and then he rushed over to fat chrissy to get air time disgusting. I really hope scott would boot him from air force one soon.
I heard that a**hole and it really burnt me up, I truly hate that jackass David Gregory
Those morons think EVERYTHING is a photo op.
Some of those idiots in the Has-Been Media just shoot themselves in the foot with statements like that. It is so obvious how much GW cares for the people he is trying to help!
I'd like to see them booted while AF1 is still in the air! LOL!
And if he hadn't been there, they would have said he was callous and didn't care! He can't win! I get soooooo mad!
