Posted: September 23, 2005 12:32 p.m. Eastern The Pentagon has barred a pair of intelligence operatives from testifying before a Senate committee about a military operation that allegedly identified a major figure in the 9-11 attacks before they occurred.
Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer and civilian contractor James Smith were not allowed to answer questions posed by members of the Senate Intelligence Committee regarding "Able Danger," a secret data-mining operation that allegedly named Mohammad Atta as an al-Qaida operative a year before Sept. 11, 2001.

Guess WND didn't get the note yet from Specter's office. Think this is old news and seems they are just catching up. See previous Thread

"Wouldn't this hurt Klinton more than GW?"
In a word: NO!
Why would the Bush administration who are supposed to be in charge of the Pentagon not allow these guys to testify?
Are they trying to help with Clinton's rehab? Are they covering for someone that we do not know about?
Or
Is it just another case of the Ruling Class covering for other members of the Ruling Class?
Every Damn time I start to feel good about Bush again, something like this pops up. Damn the Democrats! Damn the Republicans. Where are the Americans?

How can the Pentagon bar a "civilian contractor" from testifying? By pulling his security clearance, thereby ending his career in any classified environment. Shaffer already had his clearance revoked over this.
We need Bush to find his balls and as Commander in Chief order the Pentagon to allow them to testify.
