Hurricane Rita Live Thread, Part VI
NHC - NOAA ^ | 23 September 2005 | NHC - NOAA

Posted on 09/23/2005 9:39:06 AM PDT by NautiNurse

Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

Someone tell me when Wesley (The Weasel) Clark is off O'Reilly. I turn the TV off whenever he appears.

If you don't have a basement, it helps to go into the hallway where there is no glass and hunker down with pillows in high winds. Definitely avoid any trees which can fall and keep a flashlight and shoes nearby with battery operated radio. I just heard on Fox power in Galveston went out and Fox satellite transmission went out in Port Arthur.

More or less - but the rest of us were enough to take out the Mexicans responsible and send them to the Final Judge.

Though the cry is more properly "Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!".

The INSTANT I heard that I turned to TWC. The WORST part was hearing ROR say "FOX News Analyst" Gen Wes Clark. WHEN the $%^& did FOX hire him as an analyst? I'm all for fair and balanced- but he is a disgrace.

Clark now talking about his meeting today with Cindy Sheehan. OReilly is taking him to task at least.

Kitrina's sister may be messing with the reception or blowing the signal sideways.

Seriously I was having some trouble earlier but I think it was provider related rather than a FR problem. jmo.
