has been going through ERC. I didn't think anything else could account for such weakening, considering the other conditions present. I guess we can expect her to ramp back up again, at least somewhat.
If the media hypes the weakening, though, some people who haven't evacuated yet may decide not to go, then find themselves with not enough time to do so should she go back to a 5.

The picture of the water flowing over the levee in New Orleans are a sad thing to see. Should just bulldoze the 9th ward and make that area a flood zone. Otherwise this will happen again. I read parts of that area are like 15 feet below sea level. Building that low is just plain insanity.
