Later in the day the President met with King Abdullah of Jordan in the Oval Office

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 13-5 to send Judge John Roberts nomination as Chief Justice of the United States to the Senate floor where a final vote is expected next week

Former presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush were at the Opening ceremonies for the 2005 Presidents Cup Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va

Hard to say, but we have gas shortages, bread is gone off the grocery shelves and we are out of bottled water.

Man what a mess. People are stranded in The Woodlands because they ran out of gas and there is no gas left. People are trying to get them water. Governor Perry was talking to the Pentagon to see if they can get gas to them, but I don't know how they are going to do it unless by helicopter.
