I just received a phone call from C-SPAN informing me that they will broadcast live in it's entirety the Rally to Honor Military Families this Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. EDT.
We're hoping for a large turnout so our troops overseas will know that what happens the day before the rally with the antiwar crowd does not reflect the majority of the country.
Please join us this Sunday at 4th Street on the National Mall (near the Air & Space Museum) as we pay tribute to military families, and their loved ones serving in our armed forces fighting the war on terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.

Sean mentioned by 'secret' communication channels that he was going to have Melanie Morgan on his Friday radio show... we'll see.
I find it amazing that nationally syndicated conservative talk show hosts and some bloggers (like Hugh Hewitt and others) point out examples of the liberal lame stream media biased reporting every chance they get, but when it comes to 'supporting' a worthwhile effort like the rally supporting our military this weekend 'we' become invisible.
I mentioned this point to Michelle Malkin by email last Monday and she went ahead and posted the rally website and related info. This after requesting that she do so for at least 5 days in a row. The 'selling' point that I mentioned to her, "Here we are out here promoting your blog site all over the web and when it comes to just a mention of something we are doing that is worthwhile and that the liberal media will not cover... what do you and other conservatives do... you won't give us the time of day".
Leading up the when Michelle finally posted the rally info she had spent the previous four days covering the radical leftists and their rally shenanigans with Cindy Sheehan. After reading those particular postings by Michelle over last weekend I made the point with her that if someone as prominent as her in the blogosphere doesn't post our rally info your blog then = CBS News, CNN, etc.

It would be instantly obvious that should all media stupidity be reacted to as Gen Honore reacted, the media would either block the comments, or stop being stupid. I'm not holding my breath.
Great news! tgslTakoma mentioned that on Wed. of this week (I think) Mark Levin had Melanie Morgan on his show discussing the rally. Keep up the great work!

There was another caller from Pennsylvania, I think, who said that [our] Sunday Rally was going to be at the Ellipse.
So I emailed Bennett the following:

The Support the Troops AND their Mission rally is going to be held from noon to 3pm at 4th St on the south side of the Mall - near the Air and Space Museum
NOT the Ellipse which is what a recent caller told you.
