I missed this person's comments since they were deleted by the moderator, but if I was gang-raped in the Superdome by 6 crackheads and got pregnant as a result, I'd get an abortion. If God judged me as a murderer as you clearly would, then so be it. I have more faith in his mercy, though.

No rape victim should ever be forced to carry the issue of the person who brutalized her. And your asking how many rapes occurred, as if that's germane to the debate, suggests that you're not immune to moral relativism.

The key to sorting out the complexities lies with the age-old notion of 'self-defense' ... most abortion is for selfish reasons not related to self defense. A criminal act or acts places a female in decidedly dangerous circumstance, so ending a pregnancy caused via criminal actions is an act of self defense, but the key is 'the earlier the better'.
