Chuck Schumer are being investigated by the FBI for an alleged dirty trick — getting a Republican candidate's credit report illegally, officials confirmed yesterday. A moral Senator would suspend the staffers WITHOUT pay as soon as the investigation turned criminal. Back pay can always be restored.

Maryland democrates went crazy when Bob Erchlik became the 1st Republican elected Governor in over 30 years. Now that Lt. Gov. Steele is running for Paul Sarbanes' (retiring) U.S. senate seat, this has taken on national importance. The DSCC will make a mighty effort to stop Steele. How bad would it look when a Republican wins the senate seat in a state where democratic voters outnumber Republicans 2 to 1.
And needless to say, his win will add to the Republican majority in the senate.

Do not wait with bated breath, the MSM gives a collective yawn if it can't hurt Bush and conservatives.

Of course it's OK when they do it. It would only be bad if evil far right Republicans did something like this.

This is why the Democratic party and liberals in general is spinning down the drain - I call it a lack of logical continuity. They seem to have concluded that it is OK to do anything, including "evil", in order to stop what they consider to be evil. This question was posed and answered incorrectly by that bastion of clear thought, high ethics and conservative ideals, Oliver Stone in the film Platoon. He suggested that the only way to overcome evil is to become evil.

Liberals have concluded that conservatives are evil and must be defeated and that anything is acceptable to meet this end. The problem is that they use same irrational thought process to conclude that they are always in the right, and therefore, justified. As I recall, most all of the world’s tyrants have applied pretty much the same illogic.

(And before I nailed for wishing death upon someone...my 'version' of this wish....is that it results in his POLITICAL death. Not his actual demise.)

Since we don't have an AG who will follow this up it is likely to become a normal MO for Dems. Why not use the power you are allowed to keep?
