This is on right now, it ought to be really good. For those who might be interested.

"The Worship Network is especially pleased to be involved with Gospel Angels, A Concert to Restore Hope, because it is the Christian community that is uniquely gifted to bring a message of hope and encouragement at such a desperate time. Now, more than ever, we believe that organizations and ministries that share this heart to help people in need can join together for events like these to restore hope and help to the Gulf Coast.” Bruce Koblish, President of The Worship Network

Grammy award winning artist CeCe Winans will host this national event staged in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park. Gospel Angels will include performances from Nicole C. Mullen, Israel & New Breed, Blind Boys of Alabama, Natalie Grant, NewSong, BarlowGirl, George Huff, Aaron Shust and Third Day.

The Worship Network will broadcast the concert via live streaming at http://www.worship.net/ from 8pm-10pm EST on Thursday, September 22nd.

The Worship Network will also broadcast the event multiple times on its television channel, which can be seen via the Sky Angel satellite system (http://www.skyangel.com/) and on over 40 digital TV stations (www.worship.net/dtv).
In addition, the Worship Network has offered this special to over 100 local Christian television stations across the country (check local TV listings for times).

Sorry, misunderstood your post. I did notice on one of the computer models at wunderground that it could move west after landfall.

I don't think we have any reason to be uneasy around here. Only reason I'm out doing some work for this is that I'm working with a city emergency coordinator out in Bosque county.

Our only concerns are flooding in low lying areas and loss of power. Everyone knows here where the flood prone areas are so we're ready to evacuate there. But, if we lose power, so many of the people working for the power company have been diverted into the Katrina hit areas and are on standby for the coast that it may be a lot longer before power can be restored. We've got to be concerned about the people in the nursing home and invalids at home then. But, we're as ready as anybody can get for something like that.

The 1911, no matter what the grip, just doesn't index or balance "right" in my hand. Unfortunately.

My best friend has the same problem. He says he feels like he is just barely hanging on to the grips. He has a Taurus in .45 ACP with a double stack clip, and loves it!

A .45 GAP would be a good choice. Springfield makes a real nice one, but haven't shot any others.

Dude, I'd take a 30 or 40 round carbine over a pistol or revolver.

I never leave the house without my 20mm chain gun. :)

They were a bit later than usual; usually, they've been putting them out about 10 before the hour. No real changes beyond the location.

Presser...
Metro buses and trucks to distribute water on the freeway. Buses to pick up those that want to get off of the freeways. Not saying where busses will go, though. Ask for volunteers to come to a location to assist in water distribution. Promising fuel to stations along route and fuel trucks to stranded motorists.
