Should I send them this pic of Tank?
So far it's my favorite of him during his first deployment. I guess the guys had a contest to see who could get a pic of him sleeping in the funniest position or place. I'm not sure who one.

This was years ago, when I was still working. I'd ordered a pizza in for lunch and it came with this piece of plastic that kept the lid off of the pizza, a little round thing with 3 prongs sticking down. Since I worked in R&D, I took the plastic thing, put it in a sample jar, and labeled it "Aggie Stool Sample" and gave it to the VP of the division. He laughed his fanny off ;) Good thing he had a sense of humor. When he retired his replacement, also a graduate of A&M, would tolerate NO Aggie jokes.

Sure you can. Just send an explanation with the photo and his name and rank. I'm sure they'll get a kick out of it!

What is contra-flow?
Umm...I know I should know of the 80%-20% rule, but it's not coming to me right now.
Can you tell I don't watch the news?! After 3 months of going crazy last year when Tank first left, I vowed not to watch. Thanks for filling me in.

Getting out of their cars and walking to convenience stores, gas stations, any store that is open. The stores are being cooperative and letting them use the facilities. Walking to those kinds of stores usually means walking across the service road/feeder.
If you ever want to see capitalism at work just drive down a Houston freeway. There are stores of every kind one after the other.
The corner closest to my house has a convenience store on each quadrant. Four convenience stores all across the street from each other. They all make money. :-)

I think the measure of a GOOD Aggie graduate is the ability to take the jokes. There are some who just don't get it! That was a funny joke to pull!

Compare and contrast! Can you imagine the comparisons taking place all across the country. You preplan. You see a problem and handle it. You know how to take care of yourselves.

They have stopped southbound traffic on southbound lanes and let the traffic travel North on southbound lanes, West on eastbound lanes, etc.
80% - 20% rule says that 80% gets done in the last 20% of time, not just about hurricanes or traffic. They say that everything is like that. :-)
