Why the NYT feels this is news is beyond me.
They would be doing a better service to the reading public by showing why there are two equinoxes IMHO.

My goodness, such an attractive gathering. All Demonpaths I assume.
This is what my generation did as kids. I wonder if they're making mud pies for lunch?

The lush strains of a nearby performance of Puccini's "Turandot" blend with the prayers of an ancient Celtic harvest festival.Turandot is an Italian Christian's fantasy of a Chinese fairytale - what this has to do with fake witchcraft is beyond me.
And there are no prayers for ancient Celtic harvest festivals - any liturgical text is a 20th century invention.

Covering idiotic non-events like this, as well as its insanely anti-American bias has just contributed to a massive layoff of its employees due to declining reaership and advertisments.
Congrtulations NY Times - keep up the good work!!!

As long as they don't blow anyone up, I don't give a damn what they do.

My bread used to look like that.; I figured out that it needed less yeast. Somebody tell them.
(and no yeast jokes.)

Why the NYT feels this is news is beyond me.Because somebody was a ble to hold a religious service on public land w/o the ACLU starting a lawsuit! Besides it's a poke in the eye to those of us who walk in the ways of our, um, you should excuse the expression, fathers.
They would be doing a better service to the reading public by showing why there are two equinoxes IMHO.
Ah, yes, the equinox. That's where, when you cross it, you lose a day, right?

Samantha of the TV show "Bewitched" was an anomolie. There is a good reason that witches are always drawn as ugly hags. If you doubt me, just look at the picture above.

NYT's motto was " All the news that is fit to print"; the new motto is "To print all the news that fits".
