I agree, but they are "into something they don't want exposed" -- the New World Order.
"I think that Bush senior didn't campaign until the last moment because 1). he thought he had it won, 2). I think he was depressed over the 200,000 Shiite's and Kurds who were killed when he instigated a revolt against Saddam, but didn't support them."
I realize this is all a matter of conjecture, but GH's heart wasn't into the '92 campaign, and from mine and many others' perspectives, he just didn't want it, OR, was "ordered" to lay down (Reminder: That was the year Ross Perot ran as well.)
Whereas it appears GH is the ultimate "compassionate conservative" these days, imo, the 200k Shiites and Kurds killed didn't bother him much then -- remember, the man was head of the CIA -- NO stranger to death and assassination.
The Clintons will be rehabilitated once their asbestos pajamas are fitted ;-)
Yeah, but the "etc" was BIGGER ;-)
First of all Shaffer did not get a direct order from Rumsfeld and what is this he is saying about "it is the understanding of the 2 DoD officials that the SECDEF ordered the gag." Either he did or he didn't order the gag. It sounds like these 2 sources at DoD themselves heard this second hand. This sounds like an attempt to make it look like Able Danger would pose an embarrassment to this Administration which given what it was all about hardly seems possible.
Here's a thought: Above all else, the admin. doesn't want the public to panic. If we hear the truth, we'll lose all confidence in the feds and there goes the economy and everything else.
I'm watching the hearings now. Spector is "hurrying things" along, asking terse questions "are you finished yet?" "what do you mean?", this is not a good sign. Looks like he's reading from a script of questions.
Me thinks Spector got a "midnight call". My source tells me, they'll finish the hearings, create a report - then kill it - that's the standing order.
Like I said, It was a nice summer story.
Me too - especially when we have so many America subversives in Congress willing to sell us all for power and "funds" to whoever will pay it.
We cannot trust our congressional elected officials.

The whole thing has to be spiked, IMO, not because an intel operation was being run in the Pentagon, not because methods and assets would be revealed. It has to be spiked because it reveals that Atta was in the US one year before some in government are willing to admit. Remember, the 9/11 commission ignored Able Danger for that specific reason.
That year raises all sorts of interesting questions. Where was Atta during that time? What was he doing? How were his expenses being paid? Who was he associating with? What other interesting things are in the backgrounds of those with whom he was associating?
Is it true that Atta was hanging out in strip clubs, drinking booze and smoking? Those things would not be true of OBL, for example, or other devout Muslims. (For an insightful account of OBL, read Carmen bin Ladin's Inside the Kingdom)
The answers to the questions above would cause all sorts of problems for certain people. Just my opinion.
....why do they keep parading around with that sick morally bankrupt disgrace Bill Clinton?

Someone suggested in a thread I saw some time ago that the Bushes are trying to pull the Impeached One up to their level. It isn't going to work. Every time Bush I is seen with the White Trash Sink Emperor, it diminishes Bush, in my opinion. I wish that both of the Bushes would just stay away from that disgusting piece of ...piece of ...well,... clinton.
...complete silence of the Democrats. I haven't heard a peep from them on any of this.

'Cause it happened on Clinton's watch! And Sandy Burglar stuffed the relevant info into his pants.
I agree.
