Never before in American political history that a sitting President has been so savagely attacked by his political opponents as President Bush has been attacked by his Left wing liberal opponents and their media whores. The brutality of the war against President Bush is unprecedented. The Left wing liberals, the majority of the media, and unfortunately some bitter “Absolute conservatives” are attacking him about everything under the sun and blaming him for all the problems under the sun. Attacks on his performance on the war on Iraq, on his performance on hurricane Katrina, on his appointments of judges, and on and on and on…
Some of us have been demoralized and have been losing faith because of all these constant attacks on our President. This is the worst that can happen to us in time of war and in time of national crisis. Make sure that when we get demoralized, lose faith, and get divided, we are giving great aid and comfort not only to the terrorists and our foreign enemies but also to our domestic opponents the Left wing liberals. President Bush has enough domestic and foreign enemies fighting him so let us not increase the number of his enemies and let us not open more wars against him.
This great Free Republic forum should be the ideal example of how Americans unite behind their President, support him, and fight his enemies domestic and foreign. Many political observers look at this greatest of all conservative forums to gauge how President Bush is doing among his base. Let us not give our liberal opponents any sense of gloating, comfort, and aid that they are dividing us and turning some of us against our President.
My fellow freepers our President needs us more than ever, let us unite behind him.
Have been behind him since day one. He has risen above the scum and persevered. He's a winner and they are green with envy.

I agree. But Bush has to take the offense. There is NO disgrace in pointing out one's successes.

This has been President Bush's greatest week as CIC. He has set the course to save the City of New Orleans. The people of the City will soon tear down the stature of Gen. Lee and Replace it with the city's new hero, George W. Bush.
I love my President and am extremely proud of him! He is a real trooper! Despite everything, he holds his head up high, smiles and keeps doing his job - is seems to be truly a man without guile.
President GW Bush, as Abraham Lincoln before him will prevail. The Democrat Party is now entering its death throes and will not be a real political factor within in few short years when it will disappear as a major political party, just the MSMs Rather, Brokaw and Jennings are gone!!!

Our founding fathers were not all fond of each other. Newspapers were started just to smear the other person. Jefferson hated Adams (even though they were at one time good friends), Adams disliked Franklin etc
Politics is nasty. No wonder normal good people don't go into it.
Of course, Bush has the internet blogs to deal with also. And 24 hour news, and a whole 1/2 the United States disliking him.
That 1/2 hated Reagan too, at the time.
