Here in Illinois, our Rat Blago that's up for reelection in 2006 looks very vulnerable with a 36% approval rating, if we can get our act together...

The ones that surprised me were Murkowski (AK) and Gregoire (WA). Why is his so low and hers so high?

Huckabee, Mike R Bush 58% 38% 20%
A bit misleading - especially when you consider the 38% disapprove are conservatives!
THIS from a person who thinks he is worthy of being considered for national office? Maybe as a democrat.

In the Virginia Plantation, Mark Warner appears to be loved even though he rammed through one of the biggest tax increases in state history. Of course it was mostly on cigarettes so will impact the poor hardest, but you never hear that because he's a Dem.

I am surprised Greggiore or as I call her, GregGORE is at 38. I expected her to be down there with Taft at best.

Barring something unforeseen, Gov. Rounds could run for any SD office and take it easily. He's very popular here.

I find Joe Manchin's situation intersting...WV is culturally red but politically blue thanks to the teachers and labor unions...but Manchin seems to be an anti-tax, pro-business Democrat.

I guarantee you that less than 9 out of 10 people chosen randomly in New Jersey could name their current governor.
