One does not have to live in NO to see the potential for corruption in a state that has historically been corrupted by its leaders. The behavior of this mayor is criminal and it just gets worse as the heat turns up with the truth.
I agree with you. I've been living in the area for 30+ years. Compared to the last three city administrations Nagin was a hopeful change for the better.
But he's been through a lot and he's surrounded by incompetents and/or crooks. At the very least, his judgement is impaired and some of the advice he's getting is probably self serving and not in the best interests of the community.
