Gotta love Bellsouth DSL. Main reason I stuck with it is Comcast cable goes out all the time.

I think it was a given that it would get that strong, considering the warm water. But, this wasn't the CNN weather guy. It was CNN quoting the National Weather Service. Even though it was expected to get stronger it's still shocking to hear though isn't it?

And everybody needs to formalize their looting plans. Me, shoes.

LOL. You bad.

Of course, as a woman, I can never have too many pairs of shoes. Do you have time to try them on or just grab and run?

I doubt it'll be CAT5 at landfall. I hope this thing pulls a Danny to be honest. Or hit King Ranch, where Brett hit.

"I am just about to order a tri-fuel conversion kit for my Generacs (gasoline, LP, and natural gas). "

I'm still using a Generac my dad bought in 1979 after Fredric. Runs great. I just ran it for five days straight after Katrina. (starting to use a little oil though.)

The eye isn't well defined yet. It will be interesting to see what happens to it once it enters the Gulf....

You noticed that too???

I thought Nagin sounded like a different person today...good for him.

BTW...John Gibson just announced that the Mayor of Galveston has ordered a MANDATORY evacuation of Galveston.

Yes I am on Alltel DSL. I got the DSL Extreme for $31.95 a month. It was some promotion I get for 12 months. I clocked it and I am actually hitting 2.56 MBS on Wireless Router in the house. Its nice because I can be on-line anywhere in the house.

No Surfside RV on the Island (11th st. kind of behind the Sandcastle) Don't know if I will go by Fin & Feather and take the ferry or go in thru Corpus. May go in by ferry and out Corpus will pull trailer back to north of Austin.
