Dry, dry treated pine 2x4's and 1x4's. It was one of those hurricane proof heavy metal roofs, lol.

WOW................I have never heard of that and I live in a region where they consider mosquitos to be the regional bird (sorta like state bird) thanks - because I am a skeeter magnet - even in the dead of winter if there is one anywhere, it will find me :)

I was just thinking earlier that the response by the government will be much quicker & then the demorats will say "of course, it's Texas, not New Orleans". Bush cannot win, no matter what he does!

When Alicia came through here in '83, a co-worker and his wife refused to leave their trailer down in Alvin. He had relatives who invited him to ride it out with them, but he put his trust in the tie-downs that secured the trailer to the slab. He and his wife survived, but were pinned in the wreckage of the trailer and had to be rescued. What a maroon.
